Green tea has been used for many years now, all over the world both as a beverage and a form of medications. It originated in China then spread to other parts of Asia before gradually being introduced to the rest of the world. The beverage has some uses which range from prevention of cancer to lowering of blood pressure. The reason why green tea is said to be packed with more health benefits than regular black tea is due to its manufacturing process. Black tea is manufactured through fermentation and being subjected to heat which is not the case with green tea. This means that green tea retains most antioxidants as compared to black tea.
